How the shade actually works

The stick is white in the tube. As you blend, the pigment capsules break open and release tone that reacts to the warmth and undertone of your skin. It takes about 30 seconds to settle, so do not judge it on the first swipe.

Three families cover fair through medium-tan. Inside each family the formula does the undertone work, which is where most shade mistakes happen: a foundation that is technically your depth but the wrong undertone is what reads as a mask.

Will it really match me, or is that marketing?
It matches within its family. Pick Light, Natural or Medium by depth and the formula adjusts the undertone as you blend. It is not magic across every skin tone on earth, and any brand claiming that is lying to you. Fair through medium-tan is where it works. If your family is off, we replace it free.
What if it stays white on my face?
That means it has not been blended enough or it went onto dry, unprepped skin. Moisturise, wait two minutes, blend outward with the brush and give it a full thirty seconds. If it still reads white after that, it is the wrong family for you. Email us and we send the right one, no charge.
How long does it really last?
Comfortable all-day wear on normal to dry skin. On oily skin or a hot day the T-zone will need a powder by mid-afternoon. We would rather tell you that than promise twelve hours and have you disappointed at three o'clock.
Is it too dewy for my oily skin?
Probably, on its own. The finish is deliberately dewy because it was formulated for dry and mature skin. If you are oily, set the T-zone with the SPF 50 powder and it holds.
Will it clog my pores or trigger a reaction?
Non-comedogenic and dermatologist tested, with no added fragrance, alcohol or essential oils. If you react easily, patch test on the jawline for two days first. That is true of any new product, not just this one.
Do I still need a concealer?
For dark under-eyes and deep pigmentation, yes. This is a light to medium buildable base, not a full-coverage foundation. Most women use it alone and add concealer only under the eyes.
What is actually Korean about it?
The colour-adapting stick format comes out of Korean complexion makeup, where cream-to-skin bases and encapsulated pigment have been standard for years. The finish target is the same: skin that looks lit from inside rather than covered over.
What if I hate it?
